Stevens High School players plumb history and fantasy in 'Jabberwock Asylum'
When Stevens High School students present “Jabberwock Asylum” this coming week, they’ll be reaching into the fantastic, dreamlike imagination of Lewis Carroll. They’ll also be exploring a seemingly different realm: the historical world of asylums in the late 1800s.

Stevens High School to present JABBERWOCK ASYLUM
Jabberwock Asylum is loosely based on some of Lewis Carroll's most famous works, including Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Jabberwock Asylum was written by Stephen D. Farruggia and was originally produced by Seraphim Theatrical Entertainment in 2016 & 2017 with major success. Because of its growing popularity, Farruggia adapted the play into a 45 minute edition for Stevens High School's entry into the 2022 SDHSAA State One Act festival hosted by Rapid City Central, taking place on February 3-5.
