At Stevens High School, we take great pride in all aspects of theatrical productions. We have a highly interactive and hands on technique that will put you right in the action and creation of a theatrical production.

Costumes
Create, find, and put together everything an actor wears in a production. You will spend a lot of time in the costumes department working with other students. (Sewing skills is a + , but not required)
Auditioning
Interested in auditioning for a role in the play? Whether you're a student newly interested in becoming an actor, or you are an actor already, we love seeing students of all experience levels come audition.

Fill Out The Form
A few weeks prior to auditions, an audition form will be made available to fill out (form must be filled out to receive a role).
Pratice your auditon material
Not always required, but could include memorizing a monologue, song, or dance. This is also a good time to research the show you plan to audition for.
Audition!
It's go time! We know this process may be nerve wracking, but it'll pay off soon! Just make sure you respect all others in the audition room and collaborate!
Callbacks
The day after auditions, a list may be posted. On that list will be people the director may like to see more of (we highly recommend attending if you're on that list).
